Subject	Milky transmission oil

Message	I removed the transmission and noticed an oil leak from the driveshaft end. The oil was milky. It's a manual transmission. I've searched for explanations and the only cause I can see is that the car ran into deep water. Is there any other cause of milky transmission oil ? Thanks
